We’re only just in July now. I thought I’d have a look at my tarot prediction for June and see if it matched up to my experiences. for June I said the following
June: Four of Pentacles
As has been said Pentacles are associated with the more material aspects of life. The symbol of the pentacle in ritual magick relates to the element of earth. The number four is also associated with the physical world and so the idea of earth is doubly emphasised in this card. Therefore this card may refer to some very worldly undertaking such as creating a business or political plan or giving some heavy consideration to the advancement of my finances. Implicit in this card is also a slight warning against too strong a preoccupation with empire building or excessive accumulation. Such behaviour would lead to loss of compassion, greed and general miserliness. This card is very interesting given the card for the previous month.
Again this card is quite accurate. I have to hold my hands up and say that I’ve still be weighing up the issue of money in relation to my wider life. I guess the main thing driving this has been the knowledge that I’m coming up to the end of my PhD study. so It is a time for these kinds of thoughts, although I have to say I’m not feeling overly misery about things, so that’s a good sign at least.
